Hamlet

By William Shakespeare   Adapted by Jared Whitford

Studio 570’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s best drama. Set in Denmark, Prince Hamlet seeks revenge against his uncle, Claudius, who has murdered Hamlet’s father in order to seize his throne and marry Hamlet’s mother.
Hamlet is considered among the most powerful and influential works of world literature, with a story capable of “seemingly endless retelling”.  It was one of Shakespeare’s most popular works during his lifetime and still ranks among his most performed.

This production will run around 1 hour and 45 mins, with no intermission. The adaption uses Shakespeare’s original text, with cuts and changes to make it more accessible for a modern audiences.

Hamlet is graciously underwritten by Zeigler & Associates, LLC. Your hometown Law Firm.
